INGREDIENTS: 500g fish (Tuna is most suitable) ½ onion – sliced 8 tablespoons black pepper 5 - 6 gamboge (goraka) 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon curry powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric 3 curry leaves 3-4 Garlic cloves salt - to taste 3 cups water (It is depend on the size of the saucepan)
DIRECTIONS:
Roast curry powder, chili powder & turmeric until golden brown.
Cut the fish into pieces and wash it well with salt mix water and put it into a saucepan.
Grind all other ingredients into a paste including Gamboge (goraka)
Then mix well with the fish pieces with little water. Do not break the pieces. Add remaining water & cook the fish in medium heat till the gravy is become so thick or no gravy
Taste for salt.
Hot & Spicy Fish Curry
Ingredients (2 servings)
250g fish (Tuna is better)
1 tablspn Red chilly powder
1 tblspoons unroasted curry powder
1 tablspn black pepper
4 cups water
to taste Salt
1 clove garlic
Directions Wash fish and cut into cubes.
Then mix in red chilly powder, curry powder, black pepper and garlic
Cook for 20 minutes.
Adjust salt to taste
Fried Spicy Squid with vegetable recipe
250g Squid
1 Medium onions, finely sliced
1 Carrot
Few Kankun or Leeks
4 cloves Garlic, finely sliced
1 tea spoon Finely grated fresh ginger
¼ tea spoon Ground turmeric
1 tea spoon Chili powder
1 tea spoon curry powder
1 Cinnamon stick
1 stalk Lemon grass
Curry leaves
1 ½ tea spoon Ghee or oil for frying
